Edition 3201 – “Lake James Smallmouth” – on this weeks edition we’ll be live bait fishing on Lake James for the sporty smallmouth bass. On Gear Time our anglers discuss the tackle they used and Donna Reynolds prepares an oyster stew recipe in the kitchen.

Edition 3202 – “Summer Black Drum” – this week on the Journal we’ll venture to the coast to target black drum. Fishing bridge pilings proves to be productive. On Gear Time we’ll take a look at how to fish this type of structure and join Donna in the kitchen for a black sea bass recipe.

Edition 3203 – “Stripers Deep” – on this week’s edition we’ll target striped bass on the Roanoke River. Using fly rods and sinking lines proves to be effective in deep water. On Gear Time our anglers discuss how they rigged up and we’ll join Donna Reynolds in the kitchen for a roasted duck recipe.

Edition 3204 – “Popping Cork Specs” – this week on the Journal we are fishing for speckle trout using popping corks and DOA shrimp. This combo proves to be very effective. In Gear Time our anglers will discuss how to fish popping corks and we’ll join Donna Reynolds in the kitchen for a special trout recipe.

Edition 601C – “Striped Bass Combo”- This week we’ll fish the Roanoke River for striped bass using two different methods. And join Kelly Davis for Nature Break as she visits the Carolina Raptor Center.

Edition 602C – “ Late Season Chukars” – On this edition of the Journal we’ll hunt chukar partridge on a shooting preserve. We’ll join Kelly Davis for Nature Break and Donna Reynolds in the kitchen for a Venison recipe.

Edition 603C – “Light Tackle Speckle Trout” – This week on the Journal we’ll fish for speckle trout using live shrimp and light tackle. On Nature Break Kelly Davis takes a look at the Diamond Back Terrapin.

Edition 604C – “September Doves” – On this edition of the Journal we’ll take a look at hunting the sporty dove at the beginning of the season. Kelly Davis discusses an ongoing study of dioxin and its affects on wildlife on Nature Break.
